Absinthe Parisienne pairs a red-haired woman in a green dress with a dark-robed figure beneath angular black lettering. The orange background and theatrical composition give this French drinks advertisement a character of its own.
This modern poster reproduction features a design credited to P. Gélis-Didot and Louis Malteste. Its lively figures and contrasting colours suit a home bar, dining space, or collection of illustrated advertising.
